Choosing an Independent Lifestyle

A lifestyle of your own design is one that's focused on personal growth, not material gain. The path to self-discovery is paved with a desire for understanding and a willingness to learn. It starts when you have the courage to ask yourself some tough questions: What makes me happy? How do I spend my time? Do I really enjoy what I do for work? How can I make a living doing something I love?

For us, an independent lifestyle includes producing art and and sharing stories with our own unique vision. For example, our edition of Alice in Wonderland applies a colorful pallet to reimagine the classic tale. And the illustrations are available to hang on your wall, or take to the beach.

In this space we will explore lifestyles that prioritize independence. From being a digital nomad to building an earthship on your own prince of land; to growing your own food in a victory garden, we will explore the twists and turns of life in search of inspiration for our journey.

It starts with embracing the school of life. Nature and Experience are the original teachers. To keep growing, we must seek out new teachers to help guide us along the path.

In 2021, House of Lundi published classics by Mark Twain, Edgar Allen Poe, Zora Neal Hurston, as well as a new edition of Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland with over 30 color illustrations.

In 2022 be on the lookout for more publications in the House of Lundi collection, along with audio and video projects. Additionally, releases of limited edition organic perfumes are on the way.
